Based on the exceptional audience interaction and notable success achieved by members of Rubu’ Qarn organizations in showcasing their superb theatrical talents, the first stage of the “Imagination and Creativity” bootcamp of Rubu’ Qarn for Theater and Performing Arts concluded with breathtaking performances presented by the members on Monday, 31 July, 2023, at City Center Al Zahia – Sharjah, after training by highly qualified experts and trainers to help them present art shows in a universal visual language.

The final performances come as part of the first stage under the title “Theater Arts and Creativity”, through which members of Sharjah Children participated with “The Key” show, Sharjah Youth with “Treasure” and “We Are Acting”, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah with “Color Screen” and “Shunned”, and Sharjah Capability Development with “Job Interview” show; which embodied a creative theatrical message from the members to theater lovers and the world as a whole. Additionally, the first stage included workshops targeting age groups from 6 to 31 years old, in order to undergo a qualifying daily 10-hour training to perform to the audience, as well as develop their sensory, cognitive, physical and leadership personality.

Nevertheless, the Imagination and Creativity bootcamp continues until 17 August, 2023, while participants get ready for the second stage’s journey titled “Puppetry Arts and Imagination”, which involves participants in making and moving puppet models, paving their way to a creative imagination and artistic expression through writing their stories to deliver multi-technique Puppetry shows, such as cartoon puppets, string puppets, and glove puppets, according to the best creative practices and standards of this type of art.

Rubu’ Qarn for Theater and Performing Arts project is keen to open its doors to the public and creative youth of Sharjah by organizing workshops and programs, so that they will find the opportunity to showcase their abilities and creativity. Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, which was established in September 2016 by H.H. Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is the first UAE, Arab and regional initiative to grow an Emirati generation capable of leading and influencing the future.
