Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer) Was established with the aim of contributing to the progress and the sustainable development of the Emirate of Sharjah through enabling young leaders.

We train future young leaders to support the vision and strategic goals of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators.

SCD Timeline

2005

Sharjah Tatweer Forum (STF) was established by an Emiri Decree in 2005 by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council Ruler of Sharjah.

2010

2010

In February of 2010, a new Board of Directors were selected and confirmed by the Executive Council to serve a two-year term in office. The decree also established an Honorary Council of Founding Members that incorporates the five original founders of SCD, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

2017

In 2017, STF came under the umbrella of Rubu’ Qarn for creating future leaders and innovators. It is the first UAE, Arab and regional initiative to grow an Emirati generation capable of leading and influencing the future.

2018

2018

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has issued Emiri Decree No. (21) Of 2018 to reorganize Sharjah Tatweer Forum. The Emiri Decree stipulates that the new establishment is to be named “Sharjah For Capability Development”, operating under the supervision of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Leaders and Innovators in the emirate.
