As part of its keenness to nurture mindful and influential generations that contribute to community service; Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators has launched an exclusive promotional campaign under the slogan “Rubu’ Qarn of Giving”, in cooperation with its partners as well as private and government organizations in the Emirate of Sharjah, with an aim to introduce the Foundation’s leading role in building and developing personalities over 25 years. This is based on its clear built vision on the integration of its affiliated organizations (Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capability Development “Tatweer”), to achieve its common goals that seeks to develop and invest in the energies of children, youth, as well as young ladies and men in an environment that spurs creativity and innovation.
The campaign was launched by introducing the services of Rubu’ Qarn’s organizations to the local community, institutions and government departments in the Emirate of Sharjah, and promoting their specialized events, programs and activities through their social media accounts and websites, which are run under the highest standards and delivered by specialist of their centers across the Emirate of Sharjah. The campaign also includes a visit to both government and private schools of Sharjah Emirate to introduce the Foundation and clarifying the process of being members of its centers to benefit from the provided programs and services.
Rubu’ Qarn Organizations
“Sharjah Children”, which targets an age group from 6 – 12 years old, is viewed as a one of the most successful experiences in the field of children services since its establishment in 1985 with a center Al Riffa area, until its expansion to 15 centers across the Emirate of Sharjah, targeting nearly (5000) members. For more than 30 years, these centers have succeeded in achieving their set goals, as Sharjah Children Parliament is considered one of the most significant initiatives for raising the awareness of children participating in parliamentarism in the country, in order to achieve Sharjah’s vision in creating future leaders by educating and engaging them in the legislative process, as well as consolidate behavior principles that are based on respecting the views and freedoms of others, Islamic values and high values such as principles of altruism and advancing the public interest.
Members of “Sharjah Children” have accomplished nearly (120) global achievement until 2022, through participating in countless local and international competitions; the most prominent of which is when 7 of its members won the third place in the world virtual ariel drone competition by the virtual platform Robotify in the USA (VRAD). In addition, “Sharjah Children” graduated many leaders and innovators who are now contributing to building the nation.
Whereas “Sharjah Youth” works to develop the skills and capabilities of the youth aged 13 – 18 years old in various fields through its eight centers, in order to build a generation that values the opportunities provided to develop itself through continuous learning, to keep pace with up-to-date skills and contribute to framework-building for the advancement of its society. The organization has (3517) members, and during the past four years, more than (538) young people have participated in local and international championships, competitions and events. It also seeks to qualify its members and equip them with parliamentarism and leadership skills, as well as establish them on Shura principle through the Sharjah Youth Parliament, which is one of the most successful experiences pursued by the foundation is where it aims to empower leading national cadres capable of making a positive change in the society.
As for Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, it is aimed at developing the capabilities of young ladies between 13 – 18 years old with the highest international practices and standards, while the number of its female members is about (2555) girls, who have accomplished many global achievements; most notably: 11 girls have climbed Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa and the Arab world, and 8 girls have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in the African.
Nevertheless, as the human development process is continuous, “Sharjah Capability Development – Tatweer” focuses on strengthening the role of young cadres aged 18-31 years old, as more than (1500) members have participated in the organization to benefit from the offered specialized programs that aim to develop their capabilities in a consistent manner with the organization’s vision. Most notably “Wathba” Program and Sharjah Leadership Program, which are one of the most successful leadership programs in the UAE since its launch in 2007.
Summer Holiday
With an aim to invest in the free time of children and youth during the summer vacation, Rubu’ Qarn’s affiliated organizations offer a comprehensive summer program plan that includes countless activities and events in various fields, and is aimed at developing the participants’ capabilities and skills; In addition to equipping them with several academic and practical skills through sessions and workshops, as well as sports, entertainment, scientific and art programs.

Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, which was established in September 2016 by H.H. Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is the first UAE, Arab and regional initiative to grow an Emirati generation capable of leading and influencing the future. Rubu’ Qarn is the umbrella for four Sharjah-based entities: Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer).
