Sharjah Capability Development, an affiliate of Rubu\u2019 Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, has launched the \u201cSharjah Parliamentary Summit,\u201d a comprehensive development program aimed at preparing Emirati youth for parliamentary work and strengthening their participation in governance and public dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program targets Emirati youth aged 18 to 24 who demonstrate a strong interest in governance, leadership and public service, where it will run over a 6-month period from 1st<\/sup> June to 18th<\/sup> November 2026, with priority given to graduates of Sharjah Youth Shura Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Designed to bridge theory and practical application, the program provides an integrated learning experience that equips participants with a deeper understanding of parliamentary systems at the local, regional and international levels. It also strengthens their capabilities in public policy analysis and legislative drafting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through a series of specialised training modules, the summit also covers key areas including leadership, protocol, parliamentary etiquette, report writing and public speaking. Participants will also receive practical training in debate and persuasive communication, enabling them to engage with confidence and effectiveness in public discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the program includes field visits that provide direct exposure to working environments and practical governance contexts. The summit will conclude with a full parliamentary simulation, enabling participants to apply their learning through a realistic legislative decision making experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Emphasising the importance of investing in young national talents and preparing them for active participation, H.E.
